If you find that the UpCharge station is full and you are unable to return your powerbank, it's important NOT to leave the powerbank unattended or unreturned, as the powerbank rental will be considered active until it is successfully returned into a powerbank rental station.

Monthly fees include a 15% franchising fee, 3 € technical maintenance fee per station, and a 0.25 € payment processing fee per transaction.

Franchisees receive around 80% of the net revenue generated by their stations. The actual revenue depends on factors such as the number of stations, the locations, and the level of customer engagement.

Let’s say you have a 1000 stations, generating 1 rent per station every day. If the average rental revenue is 3 € you can expect to generate 1 080 € annually per station. Of this UpCharge takes a flat 15% fee + 0,25 € per rent for payment processing + 3 € / month per station in maintenance fees. Thus after fees a station would generate 852 € annually after fees.
